Now it can be observed that $\overline{RS}$ is a segment whose end $R$ and $S$ lie on the circle. So by above definition, it is a chord.

Also, $\overleftrightarrow{RS}$ is a line which contains the chord $\overline{RS}$, so by definition it is a secant. 

Therefore, Chord is $\overline{RS}$ and Secant is $\overleftrightarrow{RS}$.
